Atatiana Jefferson, was murdered by Forth Worth, Texas police Aaron Dean (34). Atatiana was in her home playing a video game with her 8 year old family member when she heard noise. She grabbed her gun from her purse but did not point it into any direction. Aaron Dean, without announcing himself, took it upon himself to fire one shot through a window, killing Atatiana. 
Aaron Dean resigned from the police force prior to being fired and has been charged with murder. He has been given a bond. Ms. Jefferson was laid to rest on October 24, 2019. Dallas Mavericks Harrison Barnes and Philadelphia Eagles, Malik Jackson paid for the funeral. She was a graduate of Xavier University in New Orleans, La. where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Biology; she worked in pharmaceutical sales.
Aaron Dean’s was booked into Tarrant County jail on Monday, October 14, 2019 and was released on a $200,000 bond on Tuesday, October 15th at 9:15pm. We will be diligently following this case.
